During the webinar, Ms Sophie Delepierre talked about the role that museums and museum professionals play in countering the illicit trafficking of cultural goods around the world.

Speaker: Ms Sophie Delepierre, the Head of Heritage Protection Department at the International Council of Museums (ICOM). She leads operational programs, training and awareness-raising activities related to the protection of cultural heritage from the museum’s perspective. In particular, she manages the development of ICOM Red Lists as well as the International Observatory on Illicit Traffic in Cultural Goods.
